FORD GT40 Mk1 Chassis P 1081
Sold to Hans Lehmann of the German car magazine "Deutsch Auto Zeitung" 1081 had a successful 1969 season. It won its class at Monza, the Nurburgring and Watkins glen. It finished 6th at Le Mans (3rd in class behind the 2 Gulf cars) being the only private GT40 to finish this race.
In 1970 it was sold to a private owner, changed hands a couple of times and has been restored in a white livery.
