Ford GT40 Mk2 Chassis P 1011
First GT40 Mk2 of the "production" serie 1011 was completed in December 1965 and was raced in Daytona in February the following year where it retired. Then it was shipped to France for the Le Mans trials in Apil. Unfortunately it was wrecked the first day of the trials in Walt Hangsen's fatal accident.
The wreck was sent back to the States, put in storage for a while and was sold to a private collector. it changed hands a couple of times and still waits to be rebuild.
