This is the first GT40 road car. It was primarly used as a presse car and was seen in numerous magazines. It has been also used by Jaguar which studied it prior to build its XJ13 intended for the 1967 season but never raced.
It was later sold to a collector, changed hands several times and was seen from time to time in club races.

Although sold as a race car it was originally used as a road car. It changed hands a few times, being occasionally raced in club events. The car still exists and has been recently restored.
