FORD GT40 Mk1 Chassis P 1039
The Scuderia Filipinetti bought 2 new chassis from JWA in 1966: 1039 and 1040. They both appeared at the Le Mans test days in April wearing the Filipinetti livery (red with a white stripe) both with the same number 21. 1039 had an accident but was repaired for its last race at Spa where it retired. It was sold to the French collector Pierre Bardinon who had it transformed as a luxury road car. He sold it in 1968 and it changed hands several times and is probably still in France.
In 1969 1039 was used in the French movie "Erotissimo" with Jean Yanne and Annie Girardot
