1042 was raced in 1967 at Daytona (DNF) and at Sebring (5th - 1st in class) by the Brescia Corse team with a white livery with side sills Italian flag colors. For the 24 hours of Le Mans (DNF) the car was entered by the 2 teams Brescia Corse and the Scuderia Filipinetti this time with the later livery (red with a white stripe). After Le Mans it was raced solely by the Brescia Corse at Zelweg (3rd).
