1027 was sent to the Bruxels Motor Show in April '66 wearing a Belgian racing yellow livery with black stripes. Later, in April, the car was sold to MGM, repainted in white with a black stripe and was used as a camera car for the shooting of the movie "Grand Prix". It was later sold to a collector who used it as a road car. It changed hands a couple of times and was exposed for a while at the Briggs Cunningham museum. It's still in existence.

I grew up 4 doors down from Jim Toensing, the owner of this car for about 30 years. What a vehicle. He had an amazing shop and tolerated well having a young teenager drop by to watch him work.
