FORD GT40 Mk1 Lighweight Chassis P 1076 (GULF)
1076 is the only Gulf lightweight GT40 not an offspring of a Mirage M1. It raced only once in 1968 at Le Mans where it retired. For 1969 it replaced 1074 and raced only at Daytona, Sebring and Le Mans along with 1075. The other races of the championship were raced by the new Mirages M2 and M3.
After Le Mans it was sold to a private collector, changed hands several times and could be seen in historic events. The car is now restored to high standard and is displayed in its 1969 Le Mans livery.
