FORD GT - Chassis GT 105
Originally GT 105 was a development car. But it was sent to the 12 hours of Reims in 1964 in replacement of GT 104 which was under repair after the fire at Le Mans. It quit after 130 laps. The car was also seen at the Le Mans trials in 1965 still in its original color.
In 1966 resprayed in green with white stripes it ran at Daytona and Sebring.
GT 105 was then sent to storage at Slough where it lost most of its parts for completion of other cars. In 1968 it was sold to P. Hawkins who used it too as a parts source for its other GT40. What's left of the car then changed hands several times before being finally restored to a high standard.
