After being used in 1965 for exhibition and display 1007 was raced in 1966 and 67 all over Europe by "Ford France". It was used in the movie "Un homme et une femme"staring Anouk Aimee and J.L. Trintignant (nephew of the veteran racing driver Maurice Trintignant) who played the role of a racing driver. At the end of 1966 the car was rebuilt to lightweight specifications after a crash at the 1000 km of Paris. It was later sold to the famous car collector Pierre Bardinon. Sold again in 1970 it is now restored to its original Ford France livery.
