GT 112 replaced the crashed GT 111. It raced only one time at the Nurburgring with the same light green livery. It retired with a broken engine mount. In July 1966 it was sold to Peter Sutcliffe who raced it as a roadster at Brands Hatch then at Spa with a makeshift roof. For the next race at Silverstone P. Sutciffe had to rebuilt GT 112 as a standard GT40 to comply with the homologation rules. He sold it in 1967 and the car was then raced in club races until 1970. It changed hands several times after that and has been restored first as a road car and now as a roadster again.
